Leandra & Jason
I had so much fun with Leandra and Jason at their engagement session. When they mentioned they wanted to do something out of the ordinary for their engagement session I was all ears. It’s not everyday I get to think outside of the box on posing and location.
I must say Leandra can ROCK anything she puts on even a burlap sack. Jason thought so too saying she should model western wear. I mean look at her! Anyway it was so awesome to get out of my comfort zone and really be thoughtful on where and how I placed them. Before this session I hadn’t been to downtown Georgetown. It’s such an adorable town just outside of Austin, Texas. If you live in Texas you know the saying “It takes two hours to get anywhere” is absolutely true. I think that’s one of the reasons I love living here. Visiting this new area was a welcomed challenge that didn’t end up being to0 challenging after-all. (It was mostly a lot of staring, no smiling and standing still, at least thats how I think they did it back in the day.) We found an old bank and some cools iron stairs. It worked out perfectly!
Once we finished in downtown Georgetown we headed to a nearby park and squeezed in some formal engagement portraits. Which again Leandra can rock anything and looked so pretty in her blue and white dress. When I saw them at the park I just though they cleaned up so nicely. The weather was perfect and the park was quant and cute. I loved walking around and enjoying their company.
After this post be sure to check out their special day Here.
